Esta é uma peça muito apetecível para fotógrafos amadores (e mesmo profissionais) e que estão sempre em movimento como eu, principalmente em aventuras e passeios na natureza.

O Joby Gorillapod é um tripé maleável que não exige uma superfície lisa, aliás quase nem precisa de superfície pois o tripé é composto por várias juntas que permitem que o tripé possa tomar qualquer forma e adaptar-se à superfície.

Existem várias versões deste tripé, nomeadamente para máquinas compactas, máquinas mais pesadas (SLR) e máquinas com lentes profissionais.

O site DigitalCameraReview tem uma review (favorável) desta peça:

• The tripod is essentially made of a bunch of “ball and socket” joints so that the legs can be bent to whatever shape you need.
• The Gorillapod really does excel at what it’s meant for.  There’s no doubt that it’s flexible enough to handle an infinite number of positions.
  
• My only concern with the “holding” capability of the camera will probably only reveal itself with longer-term use.  I have a feeling that the joints will become less stiff with age.
• As I played with it, I realized that half of the fun is just bending it to get the best platform to shoot from.
• The Gorillapod SLR (and the rest of its band) is a perfect miniature tripod solution for amateurs and enthusiasts who don’t need a more expensive tripod for everyday use.  It’s also a good travel tripod for anyone who doesn’t want to/need to travel with a standard sized tripod.

A versão compacta custa 25€, onde as versões maiores custam perto de 60€. Há desconto para quem optar pelo produto sem embalagem.
